This edition just came out, so I've used it so far only on two of the 45 hikes (hike numbers 24 and 25). The text was spot on to our experience and the maps were great. Just skimming over the other hikes that I know, Ms. Wenk has chosen great hikes and described them well. I know her work well from her Guide the John Muir Trail (I'm one of the moderators of the Facebook and Yahoo groups on that trail). One thing that she is really good about is her mileage reports. Other Sierra Nevada maps and guidebooks I've found to be very unreliable on mileage and rarely agree with one another. Even the park signage often seem wrong. Her mileage reports always seem to be accurate. This was a gift for my son in law who loves to hike Yosemite.
